PROFESSIONAL CAREER:

Have been working with Mani Group – a real estate firm, since July 2007 and have had three raises within this span of time. Presently working as the sole Business Development person for Events, Promotions and Specialty Leasing in a mall, MANI SQUARE.
Had joined the company as a trainee, marketing and have now evolved myself as the events and specialty leasing head. Creative maximization is what I have done with my company’s business developmental interests.

As Head of Events, Promotions & Specialty Leasing at Mani Square have been responsible for:

· Coordination and management of the development’s resources that can provide a prospect like an unkept, otherwise unnoticed area in the development, transformed into a golf strip to entertain people and generate revenue.
· Coordination and management of the information desk, promotions of Mani Square content in the company’s website, signage content and meeting visitors of the mall as well as prospective clients.
· Have been handling promotions with IMAX theatre at Mani Square, Kolkata.
· Consultation and management of the commercial department.
· Leasing of food court @ Mani Square. Its known to be one of the best in the country. Coordination and management of the contracts related to food-court leasing to different brands in the food and beverage industry.
· India’s first mall radio-station has been my brain child for a considerable span of time now. I manage and co-ordinate the contracts, fit-out and am a part of its operations team.
· Five AISEC management trainees from different parts of the world have done an internship program with me between September 27-November 27, 2008.They made a research on building a fun republic for children.
· Have proposed, strategically planned and executed a project called “Little Maniac” – an innovative play zone for kids.
· Planned and managed the crisis due to a global economic recession hitting us last October along with the retailers and members of Mani Square Limited.

As Assistant Manager Operations have been responsible for:

· Coordination with the Maintenance team and liaise with the security of the development as a part of the Duty Manager’s Rota.
· Coordination and management of the outsourcing companies of Security and Cleaning.
· Plugging in the gaps in the leasing of the mall.

As Executive, Marketing have been responsible for:

· Back Office work with respect to leasing.
· Manage prospective leasing clients in the absence of leasing manager and executives.
· Co-ordination the plans and designs of the development between marketing department and department of architecture.

As Trainee, Marketing have been responsible for:

· Creating and maintaining files for each business deal struck with Mani Square and also working on Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP (the database of the clients as well as the details of each deal struck and agreements signed.)
· Coordinating with the IT department and getting the ERP system in place.
